The Investment Analytics and Data (IAD) group at Dimensional Fund Advisors plays a crucial role in the firm's daily operations and long-term strategic development. This group is part of the Research Department and is essential in constructing and managing portfolios, ensuring that clients receive the best investment experience possible. The IAD team is responsible for leading the development of technology solutions that implement the firm's investment strategies in portfolio management and trading. Additionally, the team builds analytical tools that empower clients to construct, understand, and invest in their portfolios effectively. Within the IAD, the Data Distribution team focuses on providing solutions with a product mindset, utilizing product-centric development methods to address client challenges. Team members are experts in Dimensional's data and act as confident product owners, collaborating closely with product designers and engineers. The team is currently seeking analysts or associates who can support key initiatives that underpin the daily implementation process. This role involves teamwork in designing and developing investment reporting systems for data distribution, conducting both manual and automated testing of data services, and delivering ad hoc analyses related to portfolio construction and performance. Success in this position will be measured by the ability to develop and maintain analytical investment data tools and processes for both internal and external users, as well as enhancing operational efficiencies to deliver value-added investment solutions to clients. The role requires a strong understanding of investment products, regulatory requirements, and financial markets, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
