About the position

Join Royal Caribbean Group as a BI & Analytics Analyst, a pivotal role within the Business & Performance Planning team in the Global Supply Chain department. This position is designed to support various business intelligence and analytics initiatives across the organization, focusing on delivering high-powered analysis that provides insights into the Shared Services portfolio, including Global Supply Chain operations. The role is essential in enhancing the guest experience and profitability by partnering with business owners to assess their areas and uncover data-driven insights that optimize spending and achieve savings targets. As a BI & Analytics Analyst, you will work closely with different teams within Global Supply Chain operations to understand their business challenges and objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities for business improvements and efficiency gains. You will determine the requirements and business needs to develop new reporting analytical tools and optimization techniques, leading to actionable results and process improvements. This includes creating weekly, monthly, and annual reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Global Supply Chain organization, and reporting these results to various levels of the organization in different formats and settings. In addition, you will develop Power BI dashboards to support daily operations across divisions under Global Supply Chain Operations, automating processes and enhancing visibility. You will also create SQL queries to build customized reports for various databases, quantify performance improvement opportunities through dynamic reporting tools, and offer recommendations based on your analysis. Responding to ad-hoc data and analysis needs while supporting various projects and automating manual reports will be part of your responsibilities. You will need to translate analytics into a language that stakeholders can understand, telling stories that simplify complex information into measurable actions. Finally, you will create presentation decks to provide analytical insights to leadership, ensuring that your findings are communicated effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and size cost savings opportunities within Global Supply Chain.
  • Determine requirements and business needs to develop new reporting analytical tools and optimization techniques.
  • Create weekly, monthly, and annual reports tracking KPIs for the Global Supply Chain organization.
  • Report results to different levels of the organization in various formats and settings.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards to support daily operations for each division under Global Supply Chain Operations.
  • Create SQL queries to build customized reports for various databases.
  • Quantify performance improvement opportunities through graphs, schedules, dashboards, and other dynamic reporting tools.
  • Offer recommendations and business solutions based on conducted analysis.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis needs while supporting various projects and automating manual reports.
  • Translate analytics into the stakeholder's native language and tell stories to make complex things simple to understand.
  • Create presentation decks to provide analytics insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of related business analysis experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Strong PC skills are required, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI and proficiency in SQL and other Business Intelligence tools preferred.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud applications preferred.
