About the position

The BI & Analytics Analyst plays a crucial role in the Business & Performance Planning team within the Global Supply Chain department at Royal Caribbean Group. This position focuses on delivering high-powered analysis and insights that enhance the Shared Services portfolio, particularly in Global Supply Chain, to improve guest experience and profitability. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to identify business challenges, develop reporting tools, and uncover data-driven insights to optimize spending and achieve savings targets.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Global Supply Chain operations teams to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Identify and size cost savings opportunities within Global Supply Chain.
• Determine requirements to develop new reporting and analytical tools for actionable results.
• Create weekly, monthly, and annual reports tracking KPIs for the Global Supply Chain organization.
• Develop Power BI dashboards to automate processes and enhance visibility.
• Create SQL queries for customized reports across various databases.
• Quantify performance improvement opportunities using dynamic reporting tools and offer recommendations.
• Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis needs while supporting various projects.
• Translate analytics into understandable insights for stakeholders and create presentation decks for leadership.

Requirements

• Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• One to two years of related business analysis experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to logically structure quantitative analyses of complex issues.
• Experience with Power BI and proficiency in SQL and other Business Intelligence tools preferred.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud applications preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong knowledge of the cruise industry preferred.
