About the position

The Analyst position at Greystone's Multifamily Bridge Sales Desk involves providing organizational and analytical support for the analysis, sizing, quoting, and issuance of applications for multifamily bridge and mezzanine loans. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and/or review the initial analysis of proposed transactions
  • Assist with up-front deal screening and due diligence tasks including rent roll analysis and preliminary loan sizing analysis
  • Prepare loan quotes and input property financial and loan information into Excel financial models
  • Assess sponsor backgrounds and business plans
  • Conduct market research
  • Recognize issues and work with the team to find solutions
  • Track timing and stages of each transaction
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external clients related to the current loan pipeline
  • Interact effectively with management, investors, borrowers, attorneys, and other third parties
  • Work independently on projects and collaborate as a team player
  • Handle other duties as needed and assigned
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Interact positively with peers, colleagues, and senior executives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced MS Office with expert Excel skills
  • MF analytic/underwriting experience is a plus
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational/project-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and respect for deadlines
  • Driven, innovative team-player focused on results
