About the position

The Analyst, Business Intelligence role at Acosta involves generating data and insights to support category management and sales projects. This position requires analytical support for various initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with business managers to deliver quality results. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site work three days a week in Sterling, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for category management and sales projects utilizing various CPG and Retailer data sources and tools.
• Ensure quality control of data sources and accuracy of deliverables, engaging with other BI associates and data/tool vendors as necessary.
• Build and update weekly and monthly dashboards and provide insights based on data analysis.
• Participate in the development of sales presentations that incorporate syndicated data and address business issues.
• Work closely with business managers to ensure quality results are delivered.
• Stay informed about clients' KPIs, strategies, innovations, and other important information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros is a strong asset.
• Experience with retailer POS, syndicated data, and/or category/space management tools is an asset.
• Demonstrated drive for results and energy in pursuing assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and apply basic math and CPG principles in work assignments.
• Effective communication and interaction skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with data analytics methodologies.
