About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst position at Acosta involves generating data and insights to support category management and sales projects. This role requires analytical support, quality control of data, and collaboration with business managers to deliver accurate results. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site work three days a week in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for category management and sales projects utilizing various CPG and Retailer data sources and tools.
• Ensure quality control of data sources and accuracy of deliverables, engaging with other BI associates and data/tool vendors as needed.
• Build and update weekly and monthly dashboards and provide insights.
• Participate in the development of sales presentations incorporating syndicated data and other sources that address business issues.
• Work closely with business managers to ensure quality results are delivered.
• Stay informed about clients' KPIs, strategies, innovations, and other important information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros is a strong asset.
• Experience with retailer POS, syndicated data, and/or category/space management tools is an asset.
• Demonstrated drive for results and energy in pursuing assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and apply basic math and CPG principles.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with market research methodologies.
