About the position

The Analyst, Business Intelligence role at Acosta involves generating data and insights to support category management and sales projects. This hybrid position requires working on-site three days a week in Atlanta, GA, and focuses on utilizing various data sources to provide analytical support, ensuring data accuracy, and developing sales presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for category management and sales projects utilizing various CPG and Retailer data sources and tools.
• Ensure quality control of data sources and accuracy of deliverables, engaging with other BI associates and data/tool vendors as necessary.
• Build and update weekly and monthly dashboards and provide insights.
• Participate in the development of sales presentations incorporating syndicated data and other sources that address business issues.
• Work closely with business managers to ensure quality results are delivered.
• Stay informed about clients' KPIs, strategies, innovations, and other important information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros is a strong asset.
• Experience with retailer POS, syndicated data, and/or category/space management tools is an asset.
• Demonstrated drive for results and energy in pursuing assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and apply basic math and CPG principles.
• Effective communication and interaction skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with market research methodologies.
