About the position

The Analyst, Business Systems position at T-Mobile USA, Inc. is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements to support various applications across business channels. This role involves facilitating communication between organizational units, conducting system impact assessments, and providing technical assistance to ensure that systems and procedures are cost-effective and meet user requirements. The analyst will also engage in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall efficiency of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for existing and new applications.
• Facilitate communication between organizational units to align business needs.
• Plan, direct, and complete analysis of business problems and product/service development.
• Provide technical assistance in identifying and developing cost-effective systems and procedures.
• Assess system impacts and conduct gap and process analysis.
• Create comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability.
• Utilize modeling approaches to represent requirement information graphically.
• Develop a business analysis work-plan to manage tasks and deliverables.
• Initiate and execute initiatives to improve processes, procedures, and tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of experience in systems analysis.
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and broker consensus among stakeholders.
• Experience in business systems analysis and consulting.
• Technical writing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Project management experience.
