About the position

The Analyst, Capital Markets Trading and Execution is a full-time support role reporting to the VP of Lending Capital Markets. This position focuses on adhering to Secondary Marketing policies and procedures, as well as AOMS's Hedging and Risk Management policies. The Analyst is responsible for managing lock requests and maintaining customer service standards while collaborating with various teams to ensure timely loan delivery and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and review lock requests/maintenances from secondary marketing lock box.
  • Lock requests and update information with investors as required.
  • Enter data from lock in requests into the system.
  • Ensure compliance with rate lock policy.
  • Provide rate/price quotes to the originators and branch personnel on an exception basis.
  • Work with branch, production, and investor personnel to resolve pricing, lock, closing, or delivery issues.
  • Monitor best efforts commitments (changes, expirations, cancellations) and communicate issues with agency/investor.
  • Enter data for loan delivery.
  • Obtain rate sheets from various agencies/conduits, evaluate rate sheets for pricing, and prepare rate sheets.
  • Analyze pipeline to determine volume patterns and trends.
  • Coordinate with internal members of AOC and external counterparties to assure clean delivery.
  • Finalize settlement with counterparty, including MSR transfer, PA Reconciliation, and Collateral delivery.
  • Generate and execute Correspondent settlements via Assignment and Conveyance.
  • Establish and maintain reporting systems and controls related to pipeline tracking, commitment and delivery deadlines, and secondary marketing and loan servicing activities.
  • Oversee and/or develop various analytical reports required.
  • Measure fallout, production, and other metrics relevant to management.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Responsible for completion and maintaining new applications and current roster of investor base.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong analytic skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Politically astute and able to negotiate.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office products.
  • Experience with databases and report writers.
