About the position

The Analyst, Casino Database Marketing at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for maximizing net revenue and margins from the casino database by promoting sailings to known casino guests and driving additional acquisition efforts. This role involves creating and analyzing marketing campaigns, segmenting the casino marketing database, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer engagement and loyalty. The position aims to increase bookings and revenue through strategic marketing initiatives and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Create casino database marketing campaigns and analyze the database for growth opportunities.
  • Segment the casino marketing database and determine offers for marketing campaigns that maximize profitability.
  • Work on a casino marketing testing program, including proposal, analysis, and reporting of tests.
  • Deliver consistent post-campaign/monthly reports with analysis and insights for casino tactics.
  • Collaborate with Casino Operations and Hotel Performance teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal Club Royale teams and Marketing for casino collateral and loyalty initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Club Royale and Marketing teams to increase automated touchpoints for guest experience and loyalty engagement.
  • Provide support for Club Royale initiatives such as Instant Rewards and Player Development marketing.
  • Partner with Shipboard Operations and IT to improve the quality of the casino database and data transfer accuracy.
  • Manage customer issues escalations and onboard responsibilities when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in database marketing.
  • Knowledge of database analytics and revenue optimization.
  • Experience with CRM customer contact strategy and loyalty marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Alteryx, Toad (SQL), PowerBI, and SAS.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of casino mathematics and theoretical loss calculations.
  • Ability to read, write, and present complex procedures to executive-level audiences.
