About the position

The Analyst position at Truist Bank involves providing analytical support to Portfolio Managers within the Middle Market banking segment. The role focuses on analyzing financial statements, developing financial models, and participating in credit presentations and underwriting processes. The Analyst will work under direct supervision, gaining knowledge of the company's product suite while contributing to client support and credit solutions.

Responsibilities

• Author annual reviews and assist in developing credit underwriting thesis for transactions.
• Build financial models based on client profiles and industry dynamics to assess repayment capability.
• Initiate risk views and translate them into risk rating models reflecting probability of default.
• Conduct industry-specific research and analysis to support client presentations and term sheets.
• Complete regulatory and compliance activities ensuring data accuracy in the portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Office and database applications
