About the position

The Analyst Compensation role at Ahold Delhaize USA is responsible for executing compensation administration processes and programs for the company's various brands. This position serves as a subject matter expert in compensation programs, ensuring compliance and effective management of merit and incentive programs. The role involves collaboration with HR teams, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Compensation Administration processes and programs for ADUSA Brands.
  • Manage the US compensation planning cycle, including project management and compliance for merit/wage programs.
  • Perform configuration testing and maintain systems used by the Compensation Administration team.
  • Create and maintain documented work processes for clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate on plan design management under existing system constraints.
  • Lead compensation projects involving functional business areas and HR Technology.
  • Develop and deliver training on compensation processes and systems.
  • Manage systems and data integrity for annual merit and wage program activities.
  • Calculate short-term incentive awards and maintain accruals.
  • Maintain data for long-term incentive share grant and vesting activities.
  • Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 3+ years of previous HR or Compensation experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Access & Power BI preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors HR system and PeopleFluent or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project leadership in HR or compensation settings.
  • Knowledge of compensation program design and execution.
