About the position

The Analyst, Compliance position at Global Atlantic Financial Group focuses on supporting the Complaint Resolution Team within the Compliance Individual Markets Team. The primary responsibility is to resolve complaints and assist with various compliance functions. This role requires collaboration with internal partners and third-party administrators to analyze complaints and develop solutions, ensuring a professional and balanced approach in communications.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve complaints and support other Compliance complaint team functions.
  • Create and distribute monthly/quarterly/ad hoc data analytics, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to track and report escalations of complaints.
  • Manage the Complaint Resolution Team, identifying training needs and opportunities.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, agents, and internal partners.
  • Partner with teams and third-party administrators to aid in complaint analysis and response.
  • Analyze complaint types and trends, partnering with Operations to identify solutions.
  • Create and maintain collaborative relationships with TPAs and operational stakeholders.
  • Review, research, and respond to consumer, BBB, Attorney General, and regulatory complaints.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of life and/or annuity experience or industry equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of life and annuity products, features, and provisions.
  • A mixture of compliance and operational knowledge acquired through work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with multiple deliverables.
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
  • Ability to make decisions and use sound independent judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Consumer-centric mindset with conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical skills to gather, synthesize data, and break down complex concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree.
