About the position

The Analyst Customer Data Strategy and Governance will engage in various projects focused on the governance and management of customer data at The Home Depot. This role involves executing multiple projects, potentially leading smaller initiatives, and developing expertise in customer data management. The analyst will participate in process development, project management, data analysis, and status reporting, contributing to the overall customer data governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the upkeep of an inventory of customer data across the organization, including the approval of any new data creation or sharing based on standards created by our Privacy practice
• Partnering with the Security as a data owner to grant access to customer data across the organization based on the rules defined by the Privacy team related to data access
• Conducting data analysis to develop a perspective on data quality issues and helping to resolve certain data quality issues across all customer data repositories
• Participating in the building and distribution of customer scorecards and data quality dashboards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field
• 1 year of work experience in a relevant role
• Experience with SQL and data querying

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
