About the position

As a Cyber Security Forensics Analyst, you will investigate and analyze cyber incidents to determine their origin, impact, and execution methods. This role involves collaboration with the cyber operations team to develop strategies aimed at preventing future incidents and enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and cyber incidents.
  • Collect, analyze, and preserve digital evidence in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform forensic analysis on various digital devices and platforms.
  • Develop detailed reports on findings and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other external agencies during investigations.
  • Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and forensic techniques.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cyber forensics or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of digital forensics tools and methodologies (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways).
  • Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and report-writing abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mobile forensics tools (e.g., Cellebrite, Oxygen Forensic Suite).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, CCFP, CHFI) are a plus.
