About the position

The Analyst, Development Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the budgeting, planning, and development of Clearway's extensive renewable energy pipeline, which includes 30 GW of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery projects. This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure effective project budgeting, actuals reconciliation, and strategic planning, making it essential for the successful execution of renewable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the quarterly and annual project development budget, including leading the preparation of the budget roll-up for the development project portfolio.
  • Shape project development approaches and pipeline strategy through quantitative and qualitative analysis of project budgets and prepare detailed memos and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Project Developers, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Accounting to support budget forecasting and reconcile actual costs with budgets/forecasts.
  • Refine and improve Excel-based forecasting tools for project budgets and liquidity planning.
  • Provide execution support for development pipeline reporting and planning for internal and external communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year related experience required, preferably with a consulting background.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, Science, or other quantitative fields with business or finance experience.
  • Expert with MS Excel and highly skilled with other MS Office products including PowerPoint & Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional employee groups and external stakeholders.

  • Energy or infrastructure industry experience.
  • Renewable energy industry experience.
  • VBA proficiency.
  • SAP experience.
