About the position

As an Analyst in Distribution Compliance at Hilton, you will play a crucial role within the Global Distribution Team, which is a vital part of Hilton's Commercial Services organization. This position is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA, or Dallas, TX. Your primary responsibility will be to support the team in managing booking channels, optimizing operations, and ensuring effective payment and transaction settlement for online and digital third-party channels that drive business to Hilton's hotels worldwide. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Distribution Compliance and will be tasked with analyzing and supporting the revenue management and distribution strategy for various business initiatives. This includes performing rate parity root cause analysis, maintaining standards for rate plans and product sequencing, and analyzing the quality of functions performed by the team. You will also be responsible for implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance and efficiency in operations. In this role, you will develop, implement, and execute business processes that support the department's objectives. You will coordinate with other internal teams to craft strategies that align with the wider goals of Commercial Services. Your day-to-day activities will involve performing quality checks, supporting other functions during high-demand periods, and creating hotel-level compliance guides and training materials. You will also analyze the results of various product distribution initiatives and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance technology and performance tracking mechanisms. Additionally, you will manage process-improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency and generating additional revenue for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and support the revenue management and distribution strategy of business initiatives.

  • Analyze results of various product distribution and rate monitoring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders on technology enhancements and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Manage process-improvement projects to increase execution efficiency.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytics skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a hybrid office schedule out of McLean, VA or Dallas, TX.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in hospitality or online environments.
  • Experience with SmartSheet, SQL, and Google Docs.
  • Intermediate knowledge of hotel rate distribution and parity landscape.
  • Previous experience with Hilton such as RMCC or HRCC.
