About the position

The Analyst, Finance Planning Global at Converse will play a crucial role in the Finance team, focusing on financial analysis, planning, and budgeting. This position involves collaboration with various departments to enhance profitability and operational efficiency, while also providing insights to senior finance leaders for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage standard costs, freight & duty within Flex PLM & SAP.
• Manage seasonal price lists and distribute to external licensees.
• Distribute product cost guidance to internal stakeholders monthly.
• Complete ad hoc product modification requests.
• Manage the monthly purchase order audit reporting process.
• Ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
• Lead the multi-seasonal margin review process by extracting data and completing margin roll-up report.
• Own the seasonal product margin target templates and lead margin target discussions with Development & Product Merchandising teams.
• Help to identify savings and pricing opportunities within the seasonal product line plan.
• Support with ad hoc requests and deliverables to Converse/Nike Inc.
• Assist in extracting data for monthly reporting reviewed by senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, and/or budgeting/forecasting.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience in data visualization software (e.g. Tableau/Power BI), Flex PLM & SAP is a plus.
• Desire to drive efficiency, process improvement, and to enhance understanding of business drivers.
• Proficient verbal & written communication skills; Interacts well with a diverse network of global business partners.
