About the position

The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for analyzing large data sets to derive actionable insights that support decision-making within the organization. This role focuses on developing reports and dashboards, modeling performance, and utilizing financial metrics to drive value-based decisions, particularly in the Revenue Cycle healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Work with large data sets to analyze underlying business implications and summarize findings with actionable approaches.
• Analyze key business drivers and translate findings into insights and actions, assessing their implications for the overall business.
• Analyze monthly reports to identify areas of opportunity.
• Create and manage key internal reports and dashboards for day-to-day and strategic decision-making.
• Develop models to measure and project performance using key financial metrics such as ROI and breakeven analysis.
• Perform detailed analytics to provide supporting data and insights for value-based decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience in financial analysis is required.
• 1 to 2 years of Revenue Cycle healthcare experience is required.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in Revenue Cycle, is required.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong financial analysis skills and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to investigate problems and develop/communicate solutions.
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel experience.
• Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, DataRails, Salesforce); MS Dynamics experience preferred.
