About the position

The Functional Analyst position at Quadrant, Inc. is a critical role that involves working closely with the functional team to address technical issues related to the PRISM software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support, training, and upgrade assistance, as well as ensuring seamless integration with Oracle Federal Financials and the data warehouse. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership. The candidate will also be involved in operational support, particularly with Tier-3 helpdesk requests, and will assist the team with change requests and software enhancements. In this role, the Functional Analyst will conduct thorough analysis, design, and development for software changes, including troubleshooting technical issues that arise between Oracle Federal Financials and PRISM integration. The candidate will be expected to identify opportunities for improving operational processes related to acquisition management and will be responsible for developing and delivering ad-hoc data extracts to clients. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with Unison to ensure that software changes are incorporated into future releases and providing input on project schedules and effort estimates. The Functional Analyst will also prepare and maintain application documentation to guide system users and support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of systems. This includes assisting the DBA support team with installation and configuration issues, as well as supporting software installation and validation in both production and lower environments. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility while still requiring a high level of engagement and communication with the team and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with PRISM technical issues as part of the functional team.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and upgrade support for PRISM software.
  • Support a Federal agency's operations and maintenance of Unison PRISM systems.
  • Handle Tier-3 helpdesk requests and assist with change requests.
  • Conduct analysis, design, and development for software changes, including break-fix and enhancements.
  • Deliver tier-three support to resolve customer incidents.
  • Coordinate with Unison to ensure software changes are included in future releases.
  • Identify opportunities for improving operational processes related to acquisition management.
  • Develop and deliver ad-hoc data extracts to customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues between Oracle Federal Financials and PRISM integration.
  • Support user testing and related documentation for development changes.
  • Prepare and maintain application documentation for system users.
  • Assist the DBA support team with installation and configuration issues.
  • Support software installation and validation in production and lower environments.

Requirements

  • Eligible for Level II Public Trust.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience working with Procurement Systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with PRISM Software.
  • Heavy experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience working in a Windows environment with .NET, XML, and Web Services.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook and MS Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present information to all levels of leadership.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
