About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of Futures markets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong skills in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including time management.
  • Deadline-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with regulatory reporting in financial services.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily and bi-weekly regulatory reporting to the firm's DSRO (CME Group, Inc.).
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing information.
  • Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-end reporting of the FCM's Balance Sheet and adhere to the Standard of Documentation Process (SOD).
  • General ledger attestation and Month-end Reporting process (accruals, journal entries, etc.).
  • Compile and Calculate applicable Capital Charges of the FCM.
  • Coordinate intergroup reconciliation process with global teams, highlight discrepancies, and communicate resolutions.
  • Daily monitoring of various metrics of the FCM Business and escalate issues quickly.
  • Provide support on team projects as needed.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Responsible for procedural updates and work directly with regulators and examiners during audits.
