About the position

The Analyst, Gas Training and Compliance position at Eversource involves collaborating with teams to support and enhance processes within the Gas Training & Compliance Department. The role focuses on analyzing training data, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with operator qualifications. The analyst will prepare reports, manage data collection, and assist in improving departmental processes to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential risks and work with the team on assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Create, analyze, and report on training data using various information systems.
  • Prepare reports on the status of identified risks and gaps, summarizing findings and developing strategies for management.
  • Collect data from various resources and summarize reports with recommendations for best practices.
  • Research and identify metrics to monitor operator qualifications testing and risk status.
  • Develop and produce accurate, consistent, and timely reporting.
  • Review user requests for enhancements to the Learning Management System (LMS) and communicate options to satisfy business needs.
  • Assist in identifying inefficient processes and create/change procedures for data quality improvements.
  • Prepare quantitative data for the Operator Qualification Program.
  • Handle overall communications, risk, and issue resolution for projects.
  • Track and report project progress and prepare reports for upper management.
  • Manage the EWN (Gas Operator Qualification) system for internal clients.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • One to three years of related experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw sound conclusions and act decisively.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer focus and integrity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of OQ regulations and processes.
