About the position

The Analyst, Government Contracts & Pricing at Beacon Point Associates plays a crucial role in maintaining and analyzing vendor and customer product level price catalogs that are essential for pricing strategies in government contracts. This position requires a strong analytical background and proficiency in Excel to ensure data integrity and accuracy in pricing catalogs, which are frequently updated. The Analyst will collaborate closely with the Senior Analyst and Sales Operations team to support operational tasks and maintain the contracts dataset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Vendor product catalogs for data integrity, identifying potential problems with part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, quantities, etc.
• Create product price catalogs as changes occur, using analytical tools such as Excel to ensure accurate price changes, additions, or deletions of products.
• Prepare and submit final datasets to government systems and follow up with government personnel to ensure acceptance of the price catalog.
• Maintain and administer contracts databases as changes occur and communicate with all stakeholders.
• Organize data for solicitations and negotiations in collaboration with the Senior Analyst or designee.
• Correspond with vendor and customer pricing personnel to maintain database integrity.
• Consult and assist other staff on questions related to contract changes as needed.
• Process orders and/or quotes as required.

Requirements

• Advanced analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills to compile data from disparate sources.
• Strong Excel skills are required, with daily use of Excel and data analytics tools.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage workflows over broad timelines without direction.
• Strong communication skills to consult with multiple organization levels both in and outside Beacon.

Nice-to-haves
