About the position

The People Services, HR Services ER/Compliance Analyst role is part of the ER/Compliance Offboarding Team within RTX Corporation's Enterprise Services. This position supports various business units across the Americas, providing essential compliance support related to RTX policies and local, state, and federal laws. The analyst will manage involuntary terminations, guide HR partners through the reduction in force (RIF) process, and ensure accurate severance payouts while enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support involuntary terminations with severance payouts according to RTX Broad-Based Severance Plan Guidance.
  • Provide guidance and decision-making input to HR Partners for special circumstances regarding RIFs.
  • Manage and troubleshoot employee RIF inquiries across the Value Stream.
  • Audit and distribute RIF packets to HR Partners, including analyzing changes.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets to support the severance payout process.
  • Research and resolve inquiries regarding the payout process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process signed severance agreements and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience working in an HR Operations capacity.
  • Previous experience in a Shared Service environment with a focus on Offboarding.
  • Familiarity with ADP Enterprise version 5 and Workday, along with proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to partner and interact effectively with managers, HR Partners, and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills with all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and effective project management skills.
