About the position

The Analyst, HR Operations Audit plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of employee data and compliance with employment practices within NBCUniversal. This position involves conducting audits, supporting HR business partners, and improving HR processes through data analysis and reporting. The Analyst will also assist in troubleshooting employee provisioning issues and participate in various HR projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct global HR data integrity audits using SAP to ensure compliance with HR Operations data standards.
  • Coordinate with HR business partners to resolve data anomalies identified during audits.
  • Create new audits and identify data integrity defects based on HR system datasets and reporting.
  • Perform wage compliance analysis and update impacted employees in accordance with government laws.
  • Conduct union contractual increases as per collective bargaining agreements.
  • Assist with employment compliance audits and employee program audits.
  • Support internal and external auditors with data requests and conduct data cleanup exercises.
  • Troubleshoot employee provisioning issues and coordinate with IT to resolve access discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance on running ad-hoc reports for HR business partners.
  • Create dashboards for visualizing HR process trends and volume analysis for leadership presentation.
  • Identify opportunities for audit enhancements and automation, and participate in HRIS-related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 1+ year experience with data handling, querying, reporting, validation, and visualization using Excel and other reporting applications.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including functions, lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • 2+ years of HRIS related experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules or SAP SuccessFactors talent modules.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting data to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Proven analytical, critical evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
