About the position

The HRIS Analyst at MicroVention, Inc. is responsible for the support, maintenance, and compliance of the HRIS system and the HR department. This remote position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, training internal customers, and report writing. The role also supports various HR processes including compliance of HR forms, PTO, applicant tracking, and electronic onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for HR Systems, researching and resolving HRIS problems and unexpected results.
  • Support configuration of Workday organizations and business processes.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update employee data in all HR Systems as needed.
  • Complete various required reports including EEO-1 and annual reporting to the Department of Labor.
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing internal customer needs.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Develop written user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Train clients and HR staff on new processes and functionality.
  • Provide day-to-day customer service and system support to users.
  • Perform setup and audit of various HR data.
  • Maintain and monitor employee workflows and data entry into Workday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Workday.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of systems experience related to HR.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of business analysis and/or project management related experience.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including compensation and performance management.
  • Agile and flexible.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
