About the position

ADUSA Procurement is a partner company to Ahold Delhaize USA, providing supply chain services that support the delivery of products from a supplier to the warehouse. ADUSA Procurement is part of the Ahold Delhaize USA family of brands, which also includes five leading omnichannel grocery brands - Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop. A B2B Analyst II conducts technical analysis of internal system mechanics and vendor-supplied external data, provides detailed feedback to vendor partners, and works collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure the smooth and efficient integration of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) data into Supply Chain operations. The analyst owns the integrity and accuracy of EDI data for their assigned vendors after it passes the EDI translator and is a key contributor to ordering and receiving efficiencies, effective inventory management, and timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with internal business partners and external vendor partners to ensure compliance with required EDI transaction sets.
• Performs system compliance testing and data validation for inbound EDI transactions.
• Identifies and root-causes errors, communicates corrections to vendors, and performs iterative testing.
• Monitors production EDI data for syntax or data accuracy errors.
• Identifies opportunities for IT system enhancements or error resolutions.
• Provides documentation to IT resources and collaborates on design, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced system functionality.

Requirements

• Fluent understanding of grocery supply chain operations, including purchasing, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with documents relevant to grocery supply chain operations, including purchase orders, advance ship notices, and invoices.
• Familiarity with data elements pertaining to inventory management and supply chain operations.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• 3+ years in supply chain operations, IT, or data management is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• EDI experience is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, with a concentration in Supply Chain preferred.
