About the position

The Analyst II, Business Line Credit Risk position at Ally Financial focuses on leveraging analytics to address business challenges, particularly in the Auto Business sector. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong communication skills and a background in business analytics to forecast losses and delinquencies, deliver financial projections, and collaborate with various business partners to provide insights into operational and financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on production of short to long term loss and delinquency forecasting for the Auto Business
• Deliver analytics on financial projections to provide insights on future performance & drivers of variance
• Own and deliver the monthly forecast for Operational and Financial metrics, providing insight to the leadership team
• Partner and collaborate with multiple Business partners to deliver forecasts

Requirements

• Advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Auto business and credit processes preferred
• Strong application knowledge of SQL, Excel, Python and/or R
• Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts
• Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment
• Experience with logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis, mathematical programming is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
