About the position

The position is for a dynamic leader in business analytics at Ally Financial, focusing on using analytics capabilities to solve business problems related to loss and delinquency forecasting in the Auto Business. The role emphasizes collaboration with business partners to deliver accurate forecasts and insights on financial projections.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on production of short to long term loss and delinquency forecasting for the Auto Business
• Deliver analytics on financial projections to provide insights on future performance & drivers of variance
• Own and deliver the monthly forecast for Operational and Financial metrics, providing insight to the leadership team
• Partner and collaborate with multiple Business partners to deliver forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
• 1+ year of analytics experience required, 3+ years of analytics experience preferred
• Experience with Auto business and credit processes preferred
• Strong application knowledge of SQL, Excel, python and/or R
• Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts
• Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment
• Experience with logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis, mathematical program is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
