About the position

The Analyst II of the Credit Bureau Reporting and Software Configuration Team at CarMax plays a crucial role in providing analytical and technical support for CarMax Auto Finance (CAF). This position focuses on credit bureau reporting and the configuration and management of the ARGO credit decisioning system. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement system changes, ensuring effective and compliant operations within the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on credit bureau reporting and ARGO configuration strategies to recommend system changes.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement and test changes in the ARGO system.
• Leverage understanding of the Alfa system to analyze its impact on credit bureau reporting processes.
• Execute testing on system changes/releases for credit bureau reporting components.
• Design, configure, test, and validate requested changes to the ARGO system as needed by the Risk team.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream technology teams to ensure proper functioning of ARGO configuration changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an analytical, mathematical, or technical major preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and database systems, including Python, SQL, Excel, and SAS.
• Knowledge of general code writing, test planning and execution, and version control methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with database schemas, data migration, and scripting.
• Understanding of security compliance and data storage solutions.
