About the position

The Analyst II - Network Planning role at Frontier Airlines involves supporting the planning process through data analysis of current and future markets, as well as industry data. The position is crucial for preparing airline performance metrics, schedule change recommendations, and optimizing network performance through collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning process with analyses of current and future markets.
  • Prepare airline performance metrics and presentations.
  • Review schedules and prepare schedule change recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain concise network reporting from multiple data sources.
  • Lead cross-functional commercial teams in support of network performance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with PRM and Finance teams to develop and maintain operating plans.
  • Partner with crew and maintenance planning to optimize network efficiency.
  • Develop route recommendations and prepare market flight level forecasts.
  • Prepare and interpret flight profitability data and reports.
  • Present forecasts, data, and reports to senior management.
  • Prepare what-if scenario schedules and budget schedules as required.
  • Review market performance and recommend actions to maximize revenues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar discipline required.
  • 2-3 years analytical experience in a data-intensive environment required.
  • 1 year of quantitative analysis work experience or equivalent graduate-level education may substitute for this requirement.
  • Prior experience in a planning or commercial analytical capacity required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of airline operation, economics, planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of airline revenue streams and costs.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel modeling, PowerPoint, Access, and SQL.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with airline scheduling concepts and tools.
