About the position
The Analyst II Outbound Logistics role at Ahold Delhaize involves managing daily workflow processes related to Warehouse Management Systems and outbound logistics. This position serves as a liaison between various departments, ensuring customer service satisfaction and effective communication with partners. The role includes training new associates, evaluating workflow processes, and contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily workflow process related to Warehouse Management Systems, Outbound routing package, and Ordering Entry Systems.
- Act as a liaison to the IT Department and coordinate workflow requirements with business partners.
- Ensure total customer service satisfaction with Retail, Merchandising, Trucking, Vendors, and Partner Providers.
- Communicate with the Demand management team to resolve retail ordering issues.
- Assist in training new associates in WMS, ITM, and Order Entry activities and systems hardware troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and recommend modifications to procedures or processes impacting workflow.
- Handle day-to-day problems associated with order flow, system issues, and emergency situations.
- Act as the technical resource within the area of responsibility.
- Contribute to writing Standard Operating Procedure manuals for all tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Familiarity with SEGA, WMS, TLM, and Excel.
- Collaboration experience with vendors, transportation providers, and third-party consultants.
- Basic knowledge of the trucking industry, distribution, and replenishment functions.
- Excellent organizational, planning, influence, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and persuasive in presenting and executing ideas.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of retail business analysis using consumer insights and analyzing trends.
