About the position

The Analyst II, Revenue Accounting position at DaVita is responsible for supporting process improvements, metric/report design and development, and providing detailed revenue valuation analysis. The role involves utilizing various technologies to support departmental goals, including accounting for center and divisional revenue, accounts receivable, cash analysis, account reconciliation, and preparing financial reports for management and audit agencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, modify, and develop recurring and ad-hoc financial schedules and related revenue trends for management reporting using SQL/SSIS/MS Excel/MS Access.
• Manage the team's data sources by identifying system and process opportunities and investigating data inconsistencies.
• Become proficient in all areas of the revenue cycle and provide recommendations based on business acumen and technical knowledge.
• Design and create tools and processes using Tableau/VBA/SQL/MS Access to assist the accounting team.
• Exercise sound judgment to determine appropriate actions for complex problem-solving and solution implementation.
• Demonstrate the ability to function in a team environment and build strong relationships across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in STEM, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Database and analysis experience with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data.
• Experience using SQL, SSIS, MS Access, and VBA (or other coding).
• Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Working knowledge of accounting functions.
