About the position

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Analyst II for Vendor Governance to manage the cost change intake process across various teams, including sourcing, finance, and category teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that internal stakeholders have the necessary data to support negotiation planning. The Analyst will be expected to leverage their expertise in Microsoft Flow and SharePoint to validate data and perform impact analyses on cost change proposals. This position supports the standardization of best practices and tools across sourcing teams, aiming to create a uniform presentation of data and processes while centralizing supporting activities. The Analyst will be responsible for pulling key financial reports and establishing best practices, templates, and timely presentations of information that are essential for Sourcing Analysts and Category Managers. The information provided will include cost impact analyses, validation of supplier-prepared cost information, and feasibility analyses of should-cost models. The role requires effective communication with internal stakeholders and supplier partners to ensure a smooth intake process. This position offers a flexible/hybrid work schedule, requiring three in-person days at one of the core locations and two remote days. Core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, and Hyattsville, MD. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cost change intake process across sourcing, finance, and category teams.
  • Provide expertise in Microsoft Flow and SharePoint to effectively manage the cost change intake process.
  • Support and develop impact analyses for Sourcing and Category Managers.
  • Pull key financial reports and establish best practices and templates for Sourcing Analysts and Category Managers.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and supplier partners regarding cost change proposals.
  • Execute ad hoc requests, analysis, mapping systems, and improve user experience.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft suite of tools.
  • 2+ years of related reporting experience in sourcing, negotiating, category, and vendor management.
  • Demonstrated strength in communication skills.
  • Strong research and presentation skills, both in developing and delivering presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
