About the position

The Analyst - Investment Banking at TD Securities is responsible for providing specialized financial and statistical analysis to support marketing and execution activities. This role involves conducting research, performing financial modeling, and assisting in due diligence efforts on transactions, all while working within a deal team under the guidance of senior officers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized financial and statistical analysis on marketing and execution activities.
• Assist in analyzing clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunities.
• Perform valuations of private and public companies.
• Execute basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel.
• Provide input to external client proposals and internal underwriting memos.
• Assist in preparing client presentations based on analysis and valuations.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Promote a respectful work environment adhering to bank policies.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.
• Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses.
• 0-3 years of related experience.
