About the position

The Business Analyst role within the Global Specialty IT organization focuses on supporting digital initiatives through a multi-year Strategic Roadmap. The position emphasizes a highly iterative delivery approach, utilizing agile practices to identify and deliver business value quickly. The analyst will engage with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, facilitate workshops, and support the development and testing processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirement workshops.
• Lead backlog refinement sessions and interact with Product Owners and end users.
• Elicit, document, and test new requirements, as well as validate existing ones.
• Create new user stories and prioritize them based on business intent.
• Support developers and testers in understanding business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate working sessions that promote collaboration and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience in business analysis in complex situations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Experienced facilitator with strong presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking skills with the ability to assess solutions holistically.
• Experience with integrations and data standards for quality documentation.
• Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels and demonstrate leadership skills.
• Experience in a multi-source offshore delivery center and shared services environment is a plus.
• Experience in Agile development, including prioritizing and creating/updating features and stories.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a multi-source offshore delivery center and shared services environment.
• Familiarity with Behavior and Test Driven Development.
