To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add an Analyst, IT Operations located in Austin, TX. Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the Analyst, IT Operations role will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems in order to solve them with automated systems. You will also be responsible for creating automated systems in order to make them more efficient. You will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and provide intensely collaborative consultation to users in the area of automated systems. A typical day in this role includes determining required improvements on the systems, supervising their correct implementation to meet customer requirements, assisting the team in determining methods and procedures for new assignments, writing functional and technical specifications for developers, and verifying newly developed processes. You will also be responsible for analysis, evaluation, testing, and debugging for shop floor application programs in support of various manufacturing areas, providing day-to-day end-user service and technical support, performing software configuration and setups of new customers in the MES tracking system, troubleshooting software and hardware failures, and writing medical documentation that complies with FDA regulations for medical customers.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, test, and debug shop floor application programs in support of manufacturing areas.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user service and technical support.
  • Perform software configuration and setups of new customers in the MES tracking system.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems related to shop floor computers.
  • Write medical documentation compliant with FDA regulations for medical customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience working with SQL/MES Application (FlexFlow).
  • Experience in creating SSRS Reports.
  • Ability to create Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Indexing.
  • Support for Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
  • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and SQL-Profiler.
  • Experience with Client/Server application interfaces, Distributed systems interfaces, and peripheral devices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau Data Visualization.
  • Knowledge of Ignition SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition).
  • Familiarity with Ignition 8.0 core modules and Ignition server configuration.
  • Basic Python programming skills.
  • Experience with OPC servers and PLC integration for data capture and configuration.
  • Knowledge of .NET Programming.
  • Experience with API Programming.
  • Familiarity with Non-Relational Databases (ELK, MongoDB).
