About the position

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global leader in critical power solutions, providing essential infrastructure to various industries, including financial institutions and data centers. We are seeking an Analyst, IT Operations to join our team in Henrico, VA. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring that our IT services, systems, and infrastructure align with business needs. The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Information Technology and will be responsible for overseeing operational processes and procedures that support our Hybrid Cloud IT infrastructure. In this role, you will engage in day-to-day operational support and service delivery, monitoring and responding to IT infrastructure incidents through our incident tracking system. You will proactively monitor systems for availability, capacity, and performance, ensuring that all IT services are functioning optimally. Your responsibilities will also include participating in patch management processes, IT business continuity, and disaster recovery planning and testing. Additionally, you will leverage computer programming skills to automate manual IT operations wherever applicable. A typical day will involve preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the maintenance of applications and systems, monitoring enterprise systems to ensure they meet the dynamic requirements of our business solutions, and establishing clear communication channels with customers and cross-functional teams. You will propose system enhancements, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure that business applications are performing effectively by defining and driving Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Furthermore, you will research, design, code, and test new systems and enhancements, install and maintain business application systems, and collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and implement systems effectively. Your role will also include troubleshooting and resolving system problems, performing change management, and publishing performance metrics. You will work closely with the security team to define server hardening policies and ensure compliance with industry best practices regarding data integrity and security. Responsibilities

  • Perform operational processes and procedures to ensure IT services meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in IT operations or analysis.
  • General understanding of system architectural concepts and methodologies.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and log analysis experience.
  • Data analytics skills and familiarity with IT operations support.
  • Collaboration skills and a passion for technical challenges.

Nice-to-haves
