To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Analyst, IT Operations located in Austin, TX. Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the Analyst, IT Operations role will be responsible for performing operational processes and procedures to ensure all IT services, systems, and infrastructure meet business needs. Day-to-day operational hold up and service delivery of the Hybrid Cloud IT infrastructure by monitoring and acknowledging IT Infrastructure incidents through the incident tracking system. Proactively monitor systems for availability, capacity, and performance. Participate in the Patch management process, IT Business Continuity, and Disaster recovery planning and testing. Computer programming to automate manual IT Ops wherever applicable. A typical day includes preparing Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems, proactive monitoring of enterprise systems to ensure they are adequately sized to meet the dynamic requirements from the business solutions, and ensuring proper backup and retention policies are in place to minimize data loss in case of failures. You will establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers, and cross-functional teams. Proposing system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system is also a key responsibility. You will ensure that business applications are performing, scalable, usable, and available by defining help and monitoring processes, defining and driving SLAs (Service Level Agreement), and conducting system tests. Researching, designing, coding, and testing new systems and system enhancements in line with the deliverables of the IT projects will be part of your role, along with installing, configuring, administering, and maintaining business application systems and associated hardware according to technical specifications to ensure systems function reliably. You will work with various teams to effectively gather their requirements, prepare detailed program specifications, and coordinate system implementation. Communicating with system users, vendor support, and investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving system problems will ensure user issues are resolved quickly and satisfactorily. You will also perform and track change management and publish performance metrics, ensuring the integrity and security of enterprise data on systems across Hybrid Cloud environments in accordance with business needs and industry best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Grads or equivalent experience and training.
  • 6-12 months of related experience required.
  • 1 year of MS - SQL experience.
  • Basic skills in Linux/Unix and Windows Operating systems.
  • Basics of Programming / scripting.
  • Basic skills in Relational databases and Open-Source databases.
  • Basics of Troubleshooting, Log analysis, and data analytics.
  • General understanding of system architectural concepts and methodologies.
  • Collaboration skills and passion for technical challenges and operations support.
