About the position

The Analyst, IT Operations role at Flex involves analyzing complex business problems and developing automated systems to enhance efficiency. This position is crucial for providing technical expertise in system evaluation and development, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and delivering collaborative consultation to users. The role requires a proactive approach to improving systems and supporting manufacturing operations through effective software and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business problems and develop automated systems to solve them.
  • Determine required improvements on systems and supervise their implementation to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist the team in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Write functional and technical specifications for developers.
  • Verify newly developed processes and ensure they meet operational standards.
  • Conduct analysis, evaluation, testing, and debugging for shop floor application programs.
  • Provide day-to-day end user service and technical support.
  • Perform software configuration and setups for new customers in the MES tracking system.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems related to shop floor computers.
  • Write medical documentation compliant with FDA regulations for medical customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience working with SQL/MES Application (FlexFlow).
  • Experience in creating SSRS Reports and Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Indexing.
  • Support for Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) including SQL, T-SQL, and SQL-Profiler.
  • Experience with client/server application interfaces and distributed systems interfaces.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
  • Knowledge of Ignition SCADA and its core modules.
  • Basic Python programming skills.
  • Experience with OPC servers and PLC integration for data capture and configuration.
  • Familiarity with .NET programming and API programming.
  • Experience with Non-Relational Databases such as ELK and MongoDB.
