About the position
The Analyst Lead at EMCOR Government Services will provide essential asset inventory support through the Center of Excellence for Asset Management (COEAM). This role is crucial for capturing inventory data and will involve leading on-site teams during inventory projects as the individual develops their skills and knowledge in facilities management. The position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work independently or collaboratively to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, mine, and update inventory data using MS Excel.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to improve inventory efficiency.
- Examine, compare, convert, and combine data from various documents.
- Perform physical inventory and data collection of various assets with a Facility Asset Specialist.
- Conduct physical asset validations at government and commercial facilities.
- Prepare and import/export data from applications with CMMS team members.
- Reconcile data and physical inventory discrepancies.
- Perform quality control reviews of data and asset labeling during and after projects.
- Develop and update briefings, tracking, and closeout reports.
- Act as Team Lead or Alternate Team Lead for inventory projects.
- Provide client briefings, updates, and progress reports.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience or formal education in data analysis.
- Expertise in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Basic understanding of relational databases.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Clear vocal communication skills.
- Ability to meet changing priorities and deadlines, with potential for short-notice travel.
- Ability to work unusual hours when necessary.
- Exceptional technology skills with mobile devices and applications.
- Self-directed and self-learning capability.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and access various physical spaces.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SQL and DB2.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products like SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
- Experience with CMMS or Property Management systems.
- Experience with Maximo and AutoCAD.
- Background in construction or facilities management.
- Experience with government contracting.
