About the position

The Analyst, Marketing Analytics position at The Walt Disney Studios focuses on leveraging data-driven insights to enhance performance marketing strategies. This role is integral to the Performance Marketing team, which collaborates across various functions to improve advertising effectiveness and efficiency while supporting the magical brands of Disney. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to analyze data, provide recommendations, and support measurement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement strategy and goals for cross-title measurement and analytics under the Senior Team Lead.
  • Organize, clean, manipulate, merge, and label various data sets.
  • Interpret and analyze insights, results, and recommendations from multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modeling.
  • Validate data from cross-title measurement or analytics initiatives.
  • Create ad spend data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with internal media and marketing teams and external media agencies to improve measurement processes.
  • Work with Marketing Science and Marketing Technology to incorporate business knowledge into measurement and reporting efforts.
  • Engage with Performance Marketing Strategy and Operations team members to address business questions.
  • Ensure proper measurement, data collection, and taxonomy setup across Performance Marketing.
  • Partner with third-party measurement partners for platform setup and user management.
  • Monitor and implement taxonomy structure in proprietary tools.
  • Support internal teams with ad hoc projects and maintain knowledge of Marketing Analytics processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years in Advertising Media, Media Analytics, Business Analytics, or Marketing Analytics
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven, accountable, and detail-oriented
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Passion for entertainment and The Walt Disney Studios brands
  • Proficiency with Excel

Nice-to-haves

  • Some experience using SQL
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Knowledge of digital ad serving and tracking
  • Understanding of marketing and media concepts
  • Familiarity with media advertising platforms including DMPs, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Innovid, LiveRamp, and DSPs.
