About the position

The position involves coordinating logistics and planning activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and products in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to optimize processes and improve delivery performance, contributing to the production of precision components for aerospace applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with logistics and planning team to ensure timely delivery of material to production lines.
  • Coordinate with logistics and planning team to ensure timely delivery of inter/intraplant parts and outbound finished products to customers.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal operations team on processing in-source work.
  • Coordinate with planning team on operational offload shipment preparation.
  • Responsible for cycle counts.
  • Coordinate interplant return process.
  • Responsible for logistics problem solving resolution.
  • Responsible for aged lamination reconciliation.
  • Responsible for Shared Services Scheduling.
  • Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
  • Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize resource utilization and meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Participate in establishing and tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement for SIOP.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using SAP, Tableau, Excel, and programming is preferred.
  • Experience working with SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning).
  • Knowledge of lean/materials principles (Lean, Six Sigma, ACE, CORE).
  • APICS (CPIM) certification.
  • Experience with material management and movement.
  • Experience in Aerospace or Automotive industries.
