About the position

The Analyst of Investment Excellence at Zenith plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of digital media buy activation and hygiene within the Inspire Media Engine (IME) Investment team. This position is integral to ensuring that media buys are executed and delivered as planned, with a strong emphasis on timely vendor invoicing and budget management. The Analyst must possess a keen understanding of the media landscape and the importance of maintaining the integrity of media buys throughout their lifecycle. In this role, the Analyst will be responsible for managing multiple work streams effectively, demonstrating both self-sufficiency and collaborative skills. The ability to manage up and communicate effectively with supervisors and associate directors is essential, as is a solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for detail. The Analyst will play a key role in all aspects of campaign activation, consistently driving excellence in digital media programs. The responsibilities include proficient knowledge of media activation, verification, and trafficking/reporting platforms such as Prisma/MediaOcean and DCM/CM. The Analyst will manage campaign inputs into Prisma, create vendor and fee insertion orders (IOs), track fees, and deliver end-of-month reports. Daily maintenance of active campaigns is critical, including conducting daily and post-launch quality assurance checks, ongoing trafficking updates, and ensuring that all insertion orders are up-to-date and approved by vendors. The Analyst will also assist with audits and reporting needs, ensuring that tasks are executed with the highest level of quality and efficiency. Financial stewardship is another key aspect of this role, where the Analyst will partner with supervisors to ensure the accuracy of monthly client billing and support vendor invoicing and reconciliation processes. This includes maintaining accurate records of insertion orders, weekly and monthly billing reports, and resolving discrepancies as they arise. The Analyst will also prepare and deliver trafficking requests, update project trackers, and support supervisors with various deliverables related to campaign builds, taxonomy compliance, and budget management. Overall, the Analyst of Investment Excellence is expected to share ideas and solutions for improving processes, support the development of junior team members, and keep management informed on project progress and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure media buys run and deliver as planned, including timely vendor invoicing and budget management.
  • Conduct daily maintenance of active campaigns, including quality assurance checks and trafficking updates.
  • Create vendor and fee insertion orders (IOs) and track fees accurately.
  • Assist with audits and reporting needs related to media buys.
  • Partner with supervisors to ensure accuracy of monthly client billing and vendor invoicing reconciliation.
  • Prepare and deliver trafficking requests that follow agreed processes and timelines.
  • Update status documents and project trackers regularly.
  • Support supervisors with campaign builds, taxonomy compliance, and budget management.
  • Share ideas and solutions for process improvements and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members with day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, consumer insights, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of media buying experience, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of media activation, verification, and trafficking/reporting platforms (e.g., Prisma/MediaOcean, DCM/CM).
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively under pressure.
  • MS Office proficiency, particularly in Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
