About the position

The Analyst Network Technician role at STP Nuclear Operating Company involves providing frontline support for Information Technology matters, including tier-one customer support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and account management tasks. The position is crucial for maintaining the business infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-one customer support for IT-related issues.
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software.
• Administer access to the business network and manage user accounts.
• Record and analyze reported issues related to end-user hardware and software.
• Maintain call tracking database and assist in end-user account management.
• Develop and maintain technical procedures and documentation.
• Manage project initiatives including scheduling and status reporting.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Preferred).
• 1-8 years of experience in end-user Windows OS hardware maintenance and Microsoft applications support (varies by level).
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ may substitute for experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with mobile device management and remote access support.
• Knowledge of security policies in a Microsoft enterprise environment.
