About the position

The Media Ops Jr. Specialist at Zenith will support the media operations team by enhancing operational effectiveness through streamlined processes and improved coordination among internal departments. This role involves learning and executing essential day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced agency environment, contributing to the overall functionality and efficiency of media operations.

Responsibilities

• Gain proficiency in fundamentals of advertising media
• Collaborate and work in partnership with cross department teams (Strategy Planning, Buying Activation, Analytics, Traffic, Creative Agency)
• Maintain media plan details and track spending shifts within the media planning software/interface
• Derive insights from reports that are meaningful, accountable and deliver on client objectives
• Provide support to Media Operations managers in completing long term, and day-to-day tasks
• Keep agency organized and streamlined, by tracking changes across the account
• Support and help troubleshoot systematic issues with internal agency programs and tools

Requirements

• BA, BS minimum
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with large data sets
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including (Word, Excel, PPT); Additional expertise in Excel complex formulas (V-look up, pivot tables) a plus
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and written/verbal communications skills with strong follow through
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Enthusiastic team player, with the ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive, and mature attitude
• Willingness and eagerness to learn, as well as the confidence to take on new tasks as opportunities present themselves

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with or exposure to Media Tools/Guideline Planning software a plus
