About the position

The Analyst People Rewards will work collaboratively across a team of Global and Regional HR professionals, maintaining and designing programs intended to enable outstanding business results through a performance-based culture. This role will significantly contribute to the design, improvement, and execution of PUMA's People Rewards strategies and processes in the US and Canada. The Analyst will perform a variety of professional, technical, and analytical activities across compensation to ensure internal and external equity, compliance, and overall competitiveness of the programs. The Analyst will perform recurring analytical activities across the Benefit programs and ad hoc Benefit projects, dedicating approximately 70% of their time to Compensation and 30% to Benefits. In this role, the Analyst will conduct analyses of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance across the employee lifecycle. They will evaluate jobs using internal tools and maintain job classifications and salary structures, preparing and presenting recommendations to end users. The Analyst will partner and consult with HR Business Partners, the Talent Team, and Management to understand business and compensation needs, while also maintaining and managing pay program documentation and tools, maximizing the HR system for administration. The Analyst will lead pay equity audits, reporting requirements, and monitor for new and changing State/Provincial and Federal regulations. They will advise management on applicable State/Provincial and Federal employment regulations as it relates to compensation policies and human resource procedures to maintain compliance. Additionally, the Analyst will research the latest trends and industry changes, recommending updates to existing programs or policies based on their findings. They will compile data and participate in annual and ad-hoc surveys, evaluating data integrity, summarizing results, producing reports, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders. The Analyst will prepare analysis for Salary Planning and Annual Bonus Processes, collaborate in the development of rewards strategies and programs including the annual merit process, bonus plans, and short- and long-term incentives, and train managers on compensation programs, tools, and structures. They will also perform recurring monthly audits across the benefit programs and participate in People Rewards team projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
  • Solid understanding of compensation programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables and formulas).
  • Proficient with HRIS, Workday preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
