About the position

The Analyst, Port Operations position at Royal Caribbean Group is a full-time role that supports the land operations group, including Guest Port Services and Port Operations. The analyst will be responsible for managing incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while adhering to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, compile, track, process, and verify accuracy of incoming invoices according to department and company guidelines.
  • Perform comparative analysis of incoming invoices using a database of contract billing information and connected expense allocation and payments.
  • Identify coding components and apply codes accurately using the internal invoice tracking tool.
  • Ensure vendors are invoicing according to established timelines and that payments are issued accordingly.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and address any invoicing issues that arise.
  • Ensure invoices are reviewed, authorized, and signed by appropriate management before forwarding to Accounts Payable.
  • Interact and communicate with Port Agents and other related groups or departments as necessary.
  • Maintain and coordinate accounting data reports for each separate land operations group.
  • Prepare and execute bank transfer wires when authorized and necessary.
  • Assist in operational needs and vendor onboarding processes.
  • Train vendors on Port Operations' invoice requirements.
  • Review statement of accounts to ensure invoices and credits are processed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical positions preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and use proper judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business writing required.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, including Excel, Word, and Access.
