About the position

The Analyst, Pricing and Revenue position at National Grid involves supporting revenue recovery for electric operating companies in Massachusetts. The role focuses on obtaining regulatory approval for various rates and charges, assisting with tariff administration, and preparing necessary filings. The analyst will work closely with senior team members and various internal stakeholders to communicate changes in rates and ensure consistent application of policies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of studies and analyses for regulatory proceedings related to clean energy and electrification.
• Prepare written and oral testimony and analyses in support of regulatory filings as a Company witness.
• Act as the first point of contact for field and customer interface personnel regarding regulatory and tariff policies.
• Respond to requests for information from senior management, regulators, customers, and other parties related to tariff filings.
• Communicate regulatory directives and rate implementation issues to various departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience in forecasting, finance, or accounting; experience in utility rates is desirable.
• Strong computer and data management skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Ability to collect and analyze complex data and draw logical conclusions.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
