About the position

K1 is seeking an Analyst to join the in-house Pricing Strategy team, playing a critical role in developing and executing high-impact monetization strategies across a portfolio of software companies. The Analyst will collaborate with various teams to shape growth strategies, address complex business problems, and drive transformations within K1's enterprise software portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, analysis, and execution of projects related to competitive pricing and packaging, strategic bundling, product monetization, and revenue strategy.
  • Engage with deal teams, C-level executives, and functional leaders across K1's portfolio of enterprise software companies.
  • Identify and execute key pricing and monetization opportunities for recurring revenue software businesses.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods to solve complex problems, including primary research and quantitative surveys.
  • Analyze large complex datasets using tools like Excel, Power BI, Sawtooth Lighthouse, and Python.
  • Deliver concise insights and recommendations from large volumes of data in collaboration with the team.
  • Develop quality project collateral and data visualizations to convey project narratives to stakeholders.
  • Support execution planning for pricing and packaging recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and finance to implement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Psychology, History, or Economics.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in data analytics or financial analysis.
  • Experience applying quantitative data analytics and statistical models to influence business decisions.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Python.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong interest in strategy consulting, private equity, and the enterprise software segment.
  • Base knowledge of SaaS financial metrics, recurring revenue, and subscription-based pricing.
